Needle Felted Sleeping Mice
Needle felting is the art of transforming wool into three dimensional sculptures with specialised needles.

In this one day workshop you will learn all the basics of needle felting, as well as creating your very own adorable sleeping mouse.
The workshop will include:
-An introduction to wrapping carded wool tightly and smoothly to form shapes.
-Anatomy Study: Building the body of a mouse to create a lifelike, yet whimsical appearance.
-Working with different fibres: Learning about different types of wool, as well as how to use core/carded wool and tops/roving.
-Details and finishing: Learning to create small details such as eyes, ears and facial features using wool. You will also learn how to create a ‘furry’ realistic look with the use of a reverse needle.
